Greetings, dear readers! We have recently welcomed you behind the curtains to show you how we organize our famous IT events. And now it’s time to announce one of them approaching! This is a very famous annual Drupal meetup, long awaited by so many people across Ukraine and beyond. Lviv Euro DrupalCamp 2016 in the magic city of Lviv is coming on September 3-4!
Brilliant speakers are impatient to share their thoughts about Drupal (and there is a lot to say, because its latest version, Drupal 8, has been out for almost a year). Excited guests are eager to absorb all this precious information, ask questions, and initiate discussions. And we, the organizers, simply cannot wait to finish our preparations and see everything going smoothly, with all these fantastic drupalers around!
The Camp turns 5!
Did you know? Lviv Euro DrupalCamp has a very nice anniversary. It’s the 5th year the event has been there! The camp happened for the first time in 2012 and gathered about 60 participants. But it has been growing, evoking more interest, gaining more trust and attracting more people. And this time we are expecting 250 guests. A 4-time increase is a good gift for the anniversary! And, as usual, it’s just the beginning.
The traditional pre-party in a brand-new place
According to the best Lviv Euro DrupalCamp traditions, we are going to have not an after-party, but a pre-party. So the participants can warm up a little before the next day of complete drupalization.
A good warming-up is guaranteed, and it may even get really hot! The new restaurant we chose for the party specializes in ribs prepared on fire. More flames will added by a great rock band. But the main thing that can warm up any party is a fantastic community of drupalers who know how to not only work hard, but play hard as well!
More Drupal than you could ever dream of
The next morning, inspired by the party, as well as by the fantastic spirit of Lviv, drupalers will start to gather at Taurus Hotel.
Drupal will be all around! Working with Composer, libraries, PHP Storm and CIBox, building applications with DevOps, using a new Drupal 8 distro for social networks, implementing best migration practices and strategies in Drupal 8 will be just some of exciting topics at Lviv Euro DrupalCamp 2016.
Our own speakers: the guys to be proud of!
Another unbreakable tradition is to have our own speakers introduced at Lviv Euro DrupalCamp, because they are really worth it.
These include InternetDevels CTO Oleksiy Kalinichenko who is getting ready to share the secrets of configuration management in Drupal 8, and our experienced Drupal developer Taras Kyryliuk who is going to tell everyone about Docker basics and using Docker in development processes.
