Hello there! This moment comes when big conference organizers want to sigh in relief, jump with joy, share memories and view photos. That’s about us! Remember, we told you about our preparations for ConversionCon UA, Ukraine’s first offline conference on website conversion? We did it! ConversionCon UA became our successfully completed mission.
Now, let’s move to Rius Hotel in Lviv and take a glimpse at what was happening there when conversion gurus from the whole of Ukraine came to share their skills.
You know, the energy for great achievements sometimes comes from simple things - like that bright and joyful orange color we chose for the event. You could see it everywhere: on the participants’ badges and spiral notebooks, on the participation certificates, on the notes of thanks for the speakers, on the chairs...and, of course, on our T-shirts as well ;)
Viktor Levandovsky AKA Leviks gave an opening speech at the conference. He is founder and owner of InternetDevels development company (the organizer of the event) and Drudesk website support service (one of the sponsors).
And then the hottest part of ConversionCon UA began. 16 speeches came in 2 streams, so sometimes it was hard to choose between something awesome and something amazing.
The speakers shared their views on conversion rate optimization in various aspects. We talked about understanding customers and creating their “portraits”, making a better use of the social media statistics, creating attractive logos, bringing customers “on board” your website (or “onboarding”), making engaging landing pages, studying new technologies like Web Push, tracking micro and macro conversions, and so much more!
Everyone was impatient to ask questions, and the discussions went on even during the breaks. Who would let such experts go when there was a chance to ask their advice on website optimization?

It was especially nice to see everyone taking selfies with the participation certificates, and the speakers taking selfies with their thank you certificates.
After the conference, everyone had a chance to chat in a friendly atmosphere at the afterparty. Friendly, funny, joyful...but still with some serious discussions! In the Ukrainian IT circles, there’s always a lot to discuss.
And then came our special surprise. The magicians who were invited to the afterparty amazed everyone with their performance.
Many website conversion issues have been covered at ConversionCon UA, and there are still a lot of them to cover. So we hope to gather again and again! Websites are capable of more ;) Let’s bring out the best in them!
